The Dutch defender Alexander Buttner has joined Manchester United this season. The deal follows a five-year contract from his former club Eredivisie oitfit Vitesse Arnhem.
Buttner is a former Ajax youth player who has been capped by the Netherlands up to the Under-20 age group.
Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted in signing the youngster and goes ahead to confirm that in the Manchester United official website stating that Buttner is one of the best young left backs in Europe.
Buttner is also excited about been called to the Manchester United squad. He says that it was one of the best days in his life and he has always admired Manchester United.
